The Tri-State Rodeo Operating Committee is excited to announce the entertainment schedule for the 77th Annual Tri-State Rodeo, taking place in Fort Madison, Iowa, from September 3 to 6, 2025!

Recognized as one of the top five large outdoor rodeos in the nation since 2000, the Tri-State Rodeo was also inducted into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2025. The Tri-State Rodeo, along with the Jim Baier Chute Out, showcases the world’s top rodeo athletes.

Bobby Hotkamp, Chairman of the Tri-State Rodeo, stated, “Every year, we aim to provide something unique and enjoyable for our long-time attendees while also attracting newcomers who may not have experienced the event before. 2025 is going to be unforgettable!”

In addition to four exciting rodeo nights, the Tri-State Rodeo will continue its tradition of featuring four nights of national entertainment on the Great River Health Stage, each followed by live performances from top bands inside the Bud Light Stockyard.

On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, the Tri-State Rodeo will welcome Nate Smith! In just a few short years, Smith has made a significant impact, accumulating over 1.6 billion career streams and achieving two No. 1 hits with “Whiskey on You” and “World on Fire.” He has also recorded three Top 5 singles, earned multiple gold and platinum records, and consistently sold out shows across the United States. He has received numerous nominations for Best New Artist from the ACM Awards, CMT Awards, iHeartRadio Awards, and more. Most recently, he was honored with the ACM New Male Artist of the Year award, Billboard’s Rookie of the Year, and Amazon’s Breakthrough Artist for 2024.

Headlining on Thursday, September 4, 2025, is Ty Myers, who made waves in 2023 with his debut single “Tie That Binds,” which gained traction organically and generated over 11 million Spotify streams. Following that success, “Drinkin’ Alone” exploded with over 26 million streams and counting. Myers has packed venues across the states and shared the stage with Willie Nelson, wrapping up his performances on Wade Bowen and Randy Rogers Band’s Hold My Beer Tour before embarking on his headline run.

Friday, September 5, 2025, features the Turnpike Troubadours, considered one of the most significant exports of the Red Dirt Country sound from Texas and Oklahoma. The gritty, country-leaning roots rock band combines the political folk of Woody Guthrie with the outlaw-style honky tonk of Waylon Jennings, producing a blend of bluegrass, Cajun, and rock influences. Their grassroots following has grown into arena-filling popularity, connecting deeply with listeners through their plaintive melodies and hard-hitting lyrics. The band has amassed over 1.5 billion streams globally and sold more than 1.28 million equivalent album units to date.

The Great River Health Stage will close out on Saturday, September 6, 2025, with Warren Zeiders, one of the most promising up-and-coming stars in country music. Zeiders recently won the CMT Award for “Breakthrough Male Video of the Year” with his debut album, “Pretty Little Poison,” released in 2023. He has already received an RIAA Double Platinum certified single and a No. 1 single at Country Radio with the album’s title track. At just 25, Warren has accumulated over 2 billion career streams and 1 billion TikTok views, along with 7.9 million monthly Spotify listeners (up from 7.3 million just two weeks ago).

Each night will feature multiple rodeo events hosted by our long-time announcer, Boyd Polhamus, along with the multi-award-winning Barrelman, Justin Rumford, and Cervi Championship Rodeo, returning as the Tri-State Rodeo’s stock contractor. Tomas Garcilazo “The Charro on the Road” is the specialty act this year. Tomas is world-renowned for his talent in trick roping and traditional Mexican charro horsemanship.

After the concerts, join us inside the Bud Light Stockyard for more live music from Triple Threat, Tyler Richton & The High Bank Boys, The Bobby Ford Band, and Stumptown.

Tickets for the Tri-State Rodeo will go on sale Friday, April 4, 2025, at 8 AM. They will be available at www.tristaterodeo.org or by calling the Tri-State Rodeo Box Office at (319) 372-2550. Your ticket includes entry to the rodeo, the concert, and the after-party.
