City of Monmouth Sees Progress on Multiple Renovation and Building Projects

At the recent Monmouth City Council meeting, Director Joe Clark provided an update on the Building and Zoning projects taking place across town, shares Communications Director Ken Helms:

“The Whisker Wash on 11th Street is all completed, has an occupancy permit, and they are open for business. Monmouth College at 815 East Broadway, has renovations at that house continuing for additional student housing. Out at OSF Holy Family, they are renovating a rehab room for a sleep lab as well. The former Banker’s Life building on West 1st Avenue, all the windows have been installed on that, and they are moving right along doing the renovation on that, converting that into a multi apartment complex. Big River Resources is continuing construction on a grain storage and drying hoop building on Sunny Lane.”

Additionally, City Council has approved Trick-or-Treating hours for the City of Monmouth for Friday, October 31st from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
