The Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce and Galesburg Ford held a ribbon-cutting celebration on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 12:30 p.m., marking an exciting new chapter for the local automotive business.
The event took place at Galesburg Ford’s dealership, 51 N Prairie Street, and featured brief remarks from dealership leaders and Chamber representatives before the official ribbon cutting.
Community members, local leaders, and area businesses gathered to show their support for Rik Fregia, the dealership’s new owner. Guests enjoyed guided tours of the facility, learned more about the dealership’s services and vehicle lineup, and had the opportunity to connect with staff and fellow attendees.

The event was also livestreamed on the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page, allowing community members to take part virtually.
