This Saturday, March 21st, Western Illinois Animal Rescue will host their Furry Friends Fundraiser at the Monmouth American Legion, celebrating their 25th Anniversary. Jan Helms shares details of the upcoming event:
“We are having our annual Furry Friends Fundraiser; it is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We will have all kinds of things going on. We will have music entertainment by Ryan Koresko. Food is going to be available from Henn House BBQ, or you can order from the Legion of course. Drinks are available from the Legion. There is going to be a bake sale, silent and live auctions, 50/50, some door prizes, and some merchandise. We have one main raffle package this year. It includes a premium meat bundle donated by Smithfield Foods and a $200 grocery gift card donated by Save A Lot.”
Admission to the Furry Friends Fundraiser is $5. Doors will open at 4 pm this Saturday at the Monmouth American Legion.
