The Monmouth Chamber of Commerce has a busy schedule planned to start 2018. On Wednesday, Jan. 10th at noon, the Chamber is holding their first Monmouth on the Move Luncheon of the new year. The cost is $12, and the Chamber plans to talk about the state of the organization, field questions, and talk ideas with local businesses.

On February 17th, the 9th Annual Monmouth Home Show is back! The 1st Street Armoury will host the event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show is free and open to the public and usually houses around 30 vendors per year. This event features area merchants who provide goods and services for the home.

Amy Patterson with the Chamber also shared a special announcement regarding membership:

“The Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce, the Galesburg Chamber of Commerce, the Galesburg Community Foundation, and Forefront will be offering all of our nonprofits a one membership fee to be a member of all four organizations. They can take advantage of all the different offerings that each of the four organizations has,” Patterson said.
