Dental Health Importance

Having good dental hygiene begins at a young age. Dr. Najee Harris, from Eagle View Community Health System, advises parents need to promote good dental hygiene in their children, beginning with their baby teeth:

“Common misconception is that all their baby teeth are going to fall out. It doesn’t even make a difference. That is not the case at all. It is really important to start oral hygiene to be great at a young age so they can carry it onto adulthood,” Harris states.

Dr. Harris encourages all to follow the 2-2-2 rule: brush two times a day for two minutes at a time and visit the dentist twice a year.
