Richard M. “Dick” Goff, age 79, of Biggsville, Illinois, passed away at
8:41 AM on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at Great River Medical Center in
West Burlington, Iowa. He was born on November 29, 1940 in Monmouth,
Illinois, the son of William Harland and Susan Elizabeth (Larimer) Goff.
Dick attended school at the Rozetta Grade School and later at the
Biggsville schools. He graduated from Biggsville High School. On
December 20, 1991, he married Joyce Switzer in Gladstone, Illinois. Dick
was previously married to Mary Morris. Dick drove a truck most of his
career beginning with his father and Goff Trucking. He currently worked
at the West Central School District as a bus driver. Dick also enjoyed
spending time with family and attending any and all sporting events. He
also enjoyed volunteering his time on the “chain gang” and announcing
high school football and basketball games.

Dick is survived by two daughters; Caralea (Buck) Link of Oquawka,
Illinois and Maralea (Dennis) Wright of Charleston, Illinois, one son,
Dickie (Renee) Goff of Biggsville, Illinois, one step-daughter, Tammy
(Tim) Mason of Stronghurst, Illinois, and one step-son, Jeff Hindman of
Stronghurst, Illinois. He is also survived by one brother, Jim (Terry)
Goff of Biggsville, Illinois, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three
great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces
and nephews. Dick is preceded in death by his parents and one spouse.

A funeral service for Richard Goff will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday,
February 18, 2020 at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Illinois.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, February 17, 2020
at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Biggsville Township
Cemetery. A memorial is being established for the West Central Athletic
