Mowen Discusses JCC Adding Seniors to Home Delivered Meal Routes

Share

The Jamieson Community Center Senior Nutrition program is operating normally and they are currently adding more to the home delivered meal routes as the program will be receiving additional funding. Director Nancy Mowen reports they can now add seniors based on the COVID-19 stay at home order:

“We have the capacity now to be able to add new people to those home delivered meal routes. We had already added all of our congregate people who requested to get the meals delivered to their home and now we are able to add additional people. That is a big thing, not only to get that hot meal delivered, but also have a person coming to your door each day,” Mowen says.

The Senior Nutrition meals are available to those throughout Warren and Henderson County. To be added to the home delivery list, contact Jamieson Center at 734-4251.
