A former Galesburg City Councilmember is spending time in jail on a charge of unlawful possession of meth.  Lindsay Hillery was sentenced to 180 days in Knox County Jail and will also serve two years probation.  Court records show during a traffic stop last year, police found a cigarette container in Hillery’s purse that had less than a gram of methamphetamine.  Hillery was found guilty at a trial in May.
