Monmouth City Council has approved a request from Midwest Bank for a TIF Building Rehabilitation Program Grant to replace the roof of the Patton Block building, informs Mayor Rod Davies:

“The bid from the contractor was $76,530. Our 30 percent match was $22,959. Council approved that project upon completion of the project and inspection and also proof of payment and the invoices. When we receive all that, and they get the final approval, we will be able to reimburse them.”

Mayor Davies reports that through the TIF Building Rehabilitation Program, 30 buildings throughout the City of Monmouth have benefited from the program.
