Annual Riley/Ryder Blood Drive with MFD Slated for Sept. 19th

The annual blood drive in remembrance of Riley Thomas and Ryder Armstrong at the Monmouth Fire Department will be held Monday, September 19th at Station 1, 601 Industrial Park Road, shares Monmouth Fire Captain Craig Cozadd:

“It is for the Riley/Ryder blood drive we call it in remembrance of Riley Thomas and Ryder Armstrong who are both children of firefighters of the department who died from cancer several years ago now. My wife actually started doing this when she was at Eagle View and tied in with the fire department, so it is actually a very good blood drive that a lot of people come to. Obviously, the benefit is in remembrance of them, but also a lot of blood is collected on those days generally. It is September 19th this year from 2:30 pm to 6 pm.”

To schedule a time for the annual blood drive on September 19th, contact Jana Cozadd at 309-299-4960.
