Utilizing a password manager creates the ease of tracking each unique password without having to memorize every single one, plus containing the ability to warn you if a data breach has occurred, explains Monmouth College Information Technology Director Nick Carlson:
“Some of the most important things you can do to protect yourself are have a password manager and indeed some of them even have intelligence to share if a recent data breach from a certain company involved a couple of your passwords, please reset them. In some cases, they can actually go out and help you reset them or link you directly to those locations.”
