Here’s the WMOI/WRAM Athletes of the Week for the week ending Nov. 24, 2024:

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan Athlete of the Week is senior girls basketball player, Brianna Woodard. Brianna got her final high school basketball season off to an incredible start. She scored a school record 41 points in her team’s win over Galva. In four games in the R/W-Ridgewood Tournament, Brianna averaged 22 points, eleven rebounds and three steals a game on her way to an All-Tournament team award.

The United Red Storm Athlete of the Week is senior girls basketball player, Alexa Anderson. Alexa was a big part of her team’s (3-1) run through the ROWVA/Williamsfield-Ridgewood Tournament. She tied for 2nd in points per game for the week and led the team in rebounding. Alexa showed her prowess from behind the 3-point arc, drilling five shots.

The West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is senior girls basketball player, Addie Seitz. Addie filled up the stat sheet all last week at the ROWVA/Williamsfield-Ridgewood Tournament. She led the team in assists with three per game, was 2nd in rebounds at 5.5 and was 3rd in points at eight per contest. Addie also hit three, 3-pointers, as well.

The Galesburg Silver Streak Athlete of the Week is sophomore girls basketball player, Ella Herchenroder. Ella was outstanding on both ends of the court in her team’s season opening win over Richwoods. She scored 15 points, pulled down six rebounds and handed out three assists. On the defensive end, Ella totaled six steals.

The Abingdon-Avon Tornado Athlete of the Week is sophomore girls basketball player, Kaydin Quinn. Kaydin’s solid all-around play on the court last week earned her a spot on the ROWVA/Williamsfield-Ridgewood All-Thanksgiving Tournament Team. In four games, she averaged 8.5 points, six rebounds and two steals. Kaydin helped put some games away late by going an amazing 11-for-13 from the foul line.
