Michael D. Hull, age 58, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at 11:53 am on February 22, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. Michael was born on March 13, 1964 in Monmouth where he attended local Monmouth Schools and Monmouth High Schools. He later received his General Education Degree in 1985. Michael also was a member of the local National Guard and was sent to Honduras several times.

Michael first married Lisa Rutledge and later was married to Mariana Delacruz on November 16, 2022 in Galesburg, Illinois. She is now surviving Michael. Michael first was employed by Monmouth College in their cafeteria for several years. He then worked for Bill Felt at Envision Boats of Monmouth. Lastly, and to the current has worked as a Carman for Burlington Northern Sante Fe for 25 years. Michael enjoyed pitching horse shoes and do so with the Oquawka Horse Shoe Club. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan. He also loved to watch N.C.I.S. on television. In earlier years Michael played drums locally with a band.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mariana Delacruz Hull of LaBelle, Florida and four sons, Shawn Miner and Olivia in Joliet, Illinois, Travis Allen in Iowa, Ryan Patton in Illinois, and Preston Hull of Monmouth, Illinois. His father, ” Jack Hull ” of Monmouth, Illinois, his sister, Karen Hull ( Doug McClintock) of Aledo, Texas, his brother, Robert and Tina of Independence, Missouri, and ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Two nieces and 1 nephew also is surviving Michael. He is preceded in his death by his grandparents and his mother, Janet.

As were his wishes, Michael asked for cremation, and no services or anything else to be planned. A memorial fund has been established for the Western Illinois Animal Rescue.
