The 58th Annual Monmouth Kiwanis Club Pancake and Sausage breakfast will take place this Saturday, April 6th at the Monmouth American Legion. As the largest fundraising event of the year for the club, Member Sean Cavanaugh highlights organizations the club supports:
“We prefer to keep our money local. There are a lot of deserving groups and individuals out there. We have sponsored everything from t-ball teams, to sending kids to the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Conference, the Warren County Public Library, the YMCA, Rainbow Riders, Kiwanis Kicks, Jamieson Community Center Christmas Shop, Operation Christmas Child, Camp Kidz, which is a day camp for those living with developmental disabilities, and diaper banks, all kids of things. They are all our favorites because they are all looking to achieve something individually or achieving for a group or providing for a group that is in need and we are more than happy to be involved.”
The all you can eat pancake and sausage breakfast will be held 7 am to 1 pm. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children 10 and under. Drive-thru service will also be available behind the Legion.
