Monmouth-Roseville School District completed their summer school program recently, with 32 students enrolled in the program.
The program ended with a presentation by Aaron Sikorski.
Monmouth-Roseville Superintendent Ed Fletcher says summer school was a success:
“Kids gained some confidence. At the beginning of the session they were saying, ‘hey, I can’t do this, I don’t understand this,’ and by the end many kids were… and the teachers recognized the improvement and the self-confidence of the kids. We’re hoping that carries over.”
Fletcher also says they will have debreifing of the program to see what worked, and what didn’t.
