Becky A. Leafgreen of Galesburg died October 21, 2019 at home in Galesburg. 

Becky was born on June 30, 1954 in Galesburg, the daughter of James Snodgrass and Virginia Upchurch Snodgrass.  Becky was raised by Betty Jacobs Gabriel of Galesburg who preceded her in death on January 7, 2019.

Becky married Bill Leafgreen in 1994 and he preceded her in death on September 2, 2015.

Surviving is her daughter, Sarah (Monty) Lee of New York, New York, sister Susan (Rich) Hohmann of Jacksonville, two grandchildren, Evelyn and Isaac Lee of New York and nephew Eric Hohmann of Jacksonville. 

Becky attended public schools in Galesburg, attended Illinois State University in college, and later attended Carl Sandburg College where she studied nursing.  Becky was a nurse in Galesburg for several years.  Becky enjoyed art as a student in college and as a hobby later in life and was an avid animal lover.

Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and there will be a private family service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg. Online expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.watsonthomas.com.
