Linda L. Livingston, age 72, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 7:32
AM on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Aperian North Nursing Home in
Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on May 26, 1947 in Monmouth, Illinois,
the daughter of Arlo E. and Margaret F. (Smith) Sage. Linda attended
schools in Monmouth and was a graduate of Monmouth High School. On
August 10, 1968, she married Benjamin W. “Benny” Sage in Monmouth,
Illinois and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2017.

Linda was a nurses aid for many years at the Old County Nursing Home.
Later, she worked in the dietary department at Community Memorial
Hospital in Monmouth until her retirement. Linda enjoy collecting
rabbits and snowbabies and
chatting with her friends. In her early years, she and Benny were
remembered skating around the Rainbow Roller Rink. Mostly, she loved
being with her grandchildren.

Linda is survived by one son, John (Lesley Bushong) Livingston of
Monmouth, Illinois, four grandchildren; Katy, Lora, Charley, and Jake,
and one brother, Bill (Pam) Sage of Monmouth, Illinois. She is also
survived by her cousins. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and
her husband Benny.

A funeral service is planned for 10:30 AM on Monday, December 2, 2019 at
Turnbull Funeral Home in Monmouth, Illinois. Her family plans visitation
from 9:30-10:30 prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will
be at Monmouth Cemetery. A memorial is being established and will be
