Adefioye Earns All-American Honors for Knox Men’s Soccer

KANSAS CITY, Missouri — The United Soccer Coaches announced the 2019 All-America Teams for NCAA Division III men’s soccer on Thursday.
 
Senior forward and MWC Offensive Player of the Year Adetayo Adefioye was selected Second Team All-American for his efforts on the field this season. He scored 12 goals and added six assists on the season. Adetati scored six game winning goals, good for 12th in the nation. He really turned it on in conference play as he scored six goals and picked up five assists.

“I’m very happy for Adetayo for being named All-American. He has worked extremely hard for this,” said head coach Brian O’Connor. “This is very well deserved.”

This year’s NCAA Division III All-Americans will be formally acknowledged for their accomplishments at the United Soccer Coaches All-America Ceremony & Reception on Jan. 18, 2020 at the Baltimore Convention Center in conjunction with the 2020 United Soccer Coaches Convention.
