Paul V. Marsh, age 79, of Rural Gilson, Illinois died at 5:30 A.M. on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Generations of Peoria, Illinois.            

Paul was born on September 29, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Frank and Edna (Russell) Marsh. He married Caroline Woolard, then married Joella Van Over, then finally married Virginia Ramp on September 9, 1979 in Peoria, Illinois.  She survives of rural Gilson, Illinois.

Also surviving are his children: Paul Marsh of Milan, Tennessee, Amy marsh of Sarasota, Florida, Shelby Shelton of Ana, Illinois, Robbin (Rick) Loucks of Milan, Tennessee, Russell Marsh of rural Gilson, Illinois, Frank Seaman of Mount Vernon, Illinois, and Joyce (John) Woolard of Hillsboro, Illinois; twenty grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren; two siblings: Diane Upoff of Peoria, Illinois and don (Mary) Marsh of Carbondale, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John, and one grandchild, Jeremy.

He was a mechanic in the Peoria area for over 40 years, and for several years owning his own mechanic shop. He enjoyed reading and playing pool.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. the Gilson Cemetery in Gilson, Illinois will Rev. Robert Shane officiating. Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home and Crematory in Knoxville, Illinois is assisting the family with her wishes.  Memorial contribution may be made to the family.
