The annual community Strong Families Event, hosted by the Warren County Housing Authority, had to go virtual this year due to the pandemic. Local agencies visit the Facebook page and offered materials and information on resources provided and available to all residents. Executive Director Hank Shimmin shares how to get involved and entered to win door prizes:
“If you don’t have Facebook, we are encouraging people to hit the drop boxes, call the office and we can put on anything there. Just recognize anything they want to share. Each day we have had different themes. Our staff got pretty creative with different themes for every day,” Shimmin reports.
