In the upcoming general election on November 3rd, voters will have the option of choosing a Judge for the 9th Judicial Circuit.
Warren County States Attorney and local business owner Andrew Doyle is running on the Republican ballot. Doyle says being the States Attorney has allowed him to make an impact in the community:
“You see so many different people of all walks of life. You get to work with them and help them out with their problems and their issues. You really feel like you can make a big impact on the community when you see somebody that is committing crimes and you are able to take them off the streets. You are also able to help a lot of people that have drug problems, try to get them back on track and get them treatment to help with their addictions and get them back to the beneficial members of society. On the opposite side, there is really some tough times of the job. You are dealing with a lot of families of victims of crimes, which is always very hard to see someone go through something very horrific and the impact it has on them and their families,” Doyle states.
Doyle has been the Warren County States Attorney for 8 years and resides in Monmouth with his family. On the Democratic ballot will be Emily Sutton, who is currently the appointed Judge for the 9th Judicial Circuit.
