Warren County Sees Slight Decrease in COVID-19 Cases; 2 Additional Deaths

The Warren County Health Department is confirming 2 additional COVID-19 related deaths. The individuals
were a male between the ages of 80-100 and a female between the ages of 60-80. Our deepest sympathy goes out
to family and friends. We continue to urge our community to do what you can to slow the spread of the virus and
to get vaccinated.

The Warren County Health Department is announcing 66 additional confirmed cases of coronavirus disease
(COVID-19), bringing the total cases to 2185. 2057 cases have had their symptoms resolve. Due to federal
privacy restrictions, release of any additional information is prohibited. To date there have been 62 confirmed
COVID-19 related deaths.

County level COVID-19 metrics for Week 36 from September 5-September 11, 2021 for Warren County
indicate we are in WARNING with high community transmission. IDPH uses numerous indicators when
determining warning signs of increased risk in the county. A county is considered at a warning level when at
least two of the following metrics trigger a warning.
