West Central High School is the WMOI and WRAM January School Spotlight, courtesy of MTC Communications and the Regional Office of Education #33, for the 2021-2022 school year. Principal Jason Kirby says the school year has been great and he is very appreciative for all his staff and everything they do for the students:

“I am really proud of our staff for what we try to do to move forward and give our kids the best education that they can have. Our teaching staff has done a wonderful job moving forward, taking our test scores and working towards getting everything we can out of our students. We have developed new programs, such as the RTI program that we use at the end of the day, and doing everything we can to benefit them, not only for what they are doing here in high school, but making sure that when they leave West Central, they are the best possible student and community member that they can be.”

Kirby also shares an aide at the high school, Richard Clifton, will be retiring at the end of the school year.
