Knox County COVID-19 Curbside Testing to Move Within Building

Beginning Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Knox County’s COVID-19 testing will transition from Curbside Testing to within the Knox Community Health Center, 1361 W. Fremont St., Galesburg. The Curbside Testing Trailer location will close on Friday, September 16, 2022.

COVID-19 testing will be by Appointment ONLY on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Knox Community Health Center. Appointments can be made same day by calling 309-344-2225 beginning at 7:15a.m. 

Residents who are symptomatic and would like to have an appointment with a provider can do so by calling the Health Center starting at 7:15 a.m. Monday through Friday.

“Testing remains an important tool for protecting ourselves and others from COVID-19,” states Reina Reyes, Knox Community Heath Centers Chief Operations Officer. As this latest announcement shows, we are continuing to adapt the testing resources to fit the needs and preferences of not only our residents, but our staff also.
