The United Red Storm girls varsity basketball team got back on the floor after a long winter break last night. The girls squad was last in action on December 15th, at the United Holiday Tournament. After a strong second half performance from the visiting A-Town Tornadoes, United would fall 55-44. The loss drops the Red Storm to 7-8 overall, and 1-3 in LTC play. Despite the loss, Head Coach Chris Olson says his team looked good after an extended time-off.
The Red Storm girls have their second straight home game on Thursday night, taking on another Lincoln Trail Conference rival, the West Central Heat. You can hear that game live on AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM, tip-off scheduled for 7:30, with the pregame beginning at around 7:10. You can also hear it live online at radiomonmouth.com or on our free 1330 WRAM app for your smartphone or tablet.
