Robert Duane Oliver, 76, of Galesburg, died at 11:10 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at home.

Robert was born September 14, 1946 in Quincy, Illinois the son of Robert Woodrow and Ella Louise (Rankin) Oliver.  Robert graduated from Media High School.  He farmed in rural Stronghurst on the family farm.  He enlisted in the US Army in 1977 and was honorably discharged in 1980. 

Robert is survived by three daughters, Rebekah Oliver and Renee Vuckovich both of Galesburg and Tammy Teal of Davenport, Iowa; and three grandchildren.  Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a stillborn daughter, Rachel; a daughter, Tina; a stillborn granddaughter; and a sister, Marilyn Oliver.

Cremation has been accorded.   A memorial visitation will be Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory, Galesburg.  There will be no funeral services.  Memorials may be made to the family.
