Donna Lee (Stevenson) Larson, 88, of Monmouth, IL, passed away at 12:38 a.m., Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the Richard L. Owens Hospice House, Peoria, IL, surrounded by her family. 

She was born July 29, 1934 in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of Charles and Evelyn (Terpening) Stevenson. She graduated from Biggsville High School in 1952.

She married Charles Eugene Larson on August 2, 1953 at the Biggsville Presbyterian Church. He survives.

She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years and retired to babysit two of her grandchildren. She was a member of Faith United Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Deacon, sang in the choir, a member of Thai Circle, Icebreakers, helped with Wednesday Night Live and bereavement dinners. She was a member of PEO Chapter E. She enjoyed her family, her church, and baking cookies.

Survivors include her husband, Charles “Gene” Larson of Monmouth; her daughter, Pam (Terry) Moore of Monmouth; Her sons, Steve (Candy) Larson of Springfield, and Brad (Krista) Larson of Monmouth; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and special friend, JoEllen Dollinger of Monmouth, IL.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, three brothers, her daughter-in-law, a niece, and a nephew.Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Faith United Presbyterian Church, Monmouth, IL.  Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Warren County Memorial Park, Monmouth, IL.  Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, March 10, 2023 at Faith United Presbyterian Church, Monmouth, IL.  in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Faith United Presbyterian Church in Monmouth.  McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.
