The two largest college athletics programs in Iowa are under investigation. The Iowa Gambling and Racing Commission is looking into 126 players from Iowa and Iowa State. The probe is trying to discover whether the players bet on NCAA competitions while a member of their school’s athletics program. The investigation begins after Iowa’s baseball team sat some of its players last Friday “due to a potential violation.” 111 individuals from Iowa are under being investigated, while 15 of the players are from Iowa State.
