United Red Storm Softball Hoping to Get on a Roll With Busy Final Regular Season Week

The United high school softball team has a full slate of regular season games this week before the beginning of IHSA regional play on Monday. The Red Storm are at home tonight against ROWVA/Williamsfield before embarking on a three day road trip that includes games at West Central on Wednesday, at ROWVA/Williamsfield on Thursday, and a road doubleheader against the Stark County Rebels on Friday evening. United has their regional seeding, destination, and quarterfinal matchup locked in for this upcoming Monday night. The Red Storm girls will be at West Prairie for a postseason contest against the Cyclones in the Colchester 1A regional. Speaking on the WRAM Morning Show, Head Coach Marc McMahon says he wants to see his players show a higher level of agression at the plate as they compete in higher stakes games down the stretch.
