Shane Van Gisbergen Wins Grant Park 220 In First Start

A NASCAR Cup Series’ of firsts happened in Chicago on Sunday.  Shane Van Gisbergen won the Grant Park 220 in his first career Cup Series start in NASCAR’s inaugural street race.  The driver of the number-91 car led the field on a restart to capture the victory in overtime.  Justin Haley, Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch rounded out the top-five finishers.  Last weekend’s Ally 400 winner Ross Chastain finished 22nd.  The racers head to Atlanta Motor Speedway next weekend for the Quaker State 400.
