Sheri L. “Bear” Caldwell, age 70, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 6:27 AM on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Seminary Manor in Galesburg, Illinois. She was born June 17, 1953 in Monmouth, Illinois, the daughter of Fred and Dorothy (Ross) Needham. Sheri grew up in Monmouth and was a graduate of Monmouth High School.
Sheri worked several jobs in the area including Wilson Foods, the Monmouth Daily Review Atlas, St. Mary’s Square in Galesburg, Illinois, and Warren Achievement Center in Monmouth. She enjoyed thrift sales, flea markets, and going out to eat with her friends at Cottage Corner. Mostly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Sheri is survived by one daughter, Brittany (Zack Lydic) Caldwell of Monmouth, IL, one son, Brandon Caldwell also of Monmouth, and her grandchildren; Reagan DeCrane, Isabella Lydic, Tobi, Lilian, and Ryder Caldwell. She is also survived by many other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents.
