Each year, the West Central FFA Alumni give back to their local chapter with their Alumni Auction event. The 2024 Alumni Auction will be held Tuesday, February 20th at The Barn at Fairview Acres in Biggsville. West Central FFA President Dayne Gitttings says the auction helps fund chapter activities for the next year.
“Our alumni fund pretty much everything; our events, to send our kids on the road- we pay nothing out of pocket as students. So, all the money that will be made will go towards that, so then it can send to conventions, to judging events, and help pay for kids jackets and tie,” says Gittings. “So, this is pretty much everything for us to get us through the next year.”
Social hour will begin at 5 pm, followed dinner provided by Papa’s Bar & Grill starting at 6 pm and the auction to follow.
