The Maple City Antique Tractor Association is gearing up for its annual tractor drive on June 1st to benefit local Ag in the Classroom. Curt Shimmin explains the ride will take place rain or shine at 9 am on June 1st.

“It’s about a 40-mile ride for the day. We’ll leave Cameron, circle around, and come to Monmouth Park for lunch. At Monmouth Park, we’re going to join with the American Legion. They are having hamburgers and cheeseburgers,” says Shimmin. “Like I said this is a fundraiser for Ann Sharp and her volunteers. They have been very busy this winter classes have made better.”

The cost is $35 to participate, which goes towards lunch and the Ag in the Classroom program. Shimmin adds that anyone can participate as long as their tractor and parts are functioning properly and have a slow-moving vehicle sign.
