Relay for Life of Knox County Invites Community to Annual Event

Relay For Life of Knox County has been celebrating cancer survivors for over two decades in our community. This year’s event, at the Galesburg High School Van Dyke Field, is Saturday, June 8, 2024. A one-of-a-kind event, Relay invites everyone touched by cancer to celebrate, remember and fight back against cancer. Survivors are invited to register online (at ahead of the event, and receive a free tshirt in the mail (please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery).

Celebrating at the free event are teams that have conducted fundraising for the American Cancer Society, as well as cancer survivors, their caregivers, and their family and friends. Especially poignant is the luminaria ceremony when luminaria are lit in honor and memory of loved ones touched by cancer.

When: Saturday, June 8th 7pm-10pm (gates open 6pm).

This free event will have food for sale, activities, and a silent auction.
