Share

The Monmouth College Fighting Scots dominated Knox College 49-0 on Saturday in the 135th annual Turkey Bowl on the Knox College campus. With the 25th consecutive win in the series, the Scots finish the regular season at (8-2) overall. Their (8-1) Midwest Conference record was good enough for 2nd place. Monmouth was hoping for an at-large bid in the expanded Division 3 playoff tournament but found out late Saturday that would not be the case. As the conference runner up, the Scots will now head to the Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl on Saturday in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for the 3rd straight season. They will take on St. Norbert College for the 2nd year in a row. Norbert was the 2nd place finisher in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference again this season. Monmouth College SID Nathan Baliva gave some details on the at-large bid process and the upcoming bowl game.

Saturday’s Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl will kickoff from Raabe Stadium in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin at 11 AM. You can listen to all the action live on your home for Fighting Scots foootball AM 1330/FM 95.7 WRAM, or live online at radiomonmouth.com. with the pregame show at 10:35.
