WHFB Members Prepare to Set 2025 Policy Priorities

Share

This December, representatives of the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau will travel to Chicago for the Illinois Farm Bureau 2024 Annual Meeting. During this meeting, Farm Bureau members will decide on policy priorities for the 2025 Policy Book. Jake Armstrong, Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President says the Policy Book will be used as a guide as to where Farm Bureau stands on different issues impacting farmers across the state.

“It’s a vitally important meeting that we set this policy book right, that we set this up well for the next year,” says Armstrong. “Because, even in my short tenure as Farm Bureau President, I’ve seen some major swings in that book, and I’ve seen some repercussions and some good things come out of it. So it’s important that we do it well, and we do it right. And this is the meeting where we do that.”

The Illinois Farm Bureau Annual Meeting will take place December 7 through 10 at the Palmer House in Chicago.
