Local Talent Triumphs: Henry, Knox, and Warren County Queens Make Their Mark

Henry County’s Johnna Fulcher was crowned Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Sunday at the 114th Illinois Association of Agricultural Fairs Convention.

As Miss Illinois County Fair Queen, Fulcher will emphasize the importance of agriculture and county fairs in Illinois. She will act as a summer employee of the Department of Agriculture and travel to around 30 county fairs while serving as the official hostess of the Illinois State Fair and the DuQuoin State Fair.

The 20-year-old from Geneseo attends Black Hawk College with plans to further her education at Carl Sandburg College as she pursues her career in dental hygiene.

The People’s Choice Award went to Emersyn Fleisher of Knox County Fair.

Warren County Fair Queen McKinley Rexroat finished as a Top 16 Finalist.

The Ruby Crum Memorial Award was presented to Mercer County Fair Queen, Ella King.
