Two Arrested During Search Warrant in Burlington

On January 23, 2025 at approximately 9:20 am, Officers from the Southeast Iowa Narcotics Task Force, with the assistance of local law enforcement agencies, carried out a search warrant at a residence located at 622 South Garfield Street. During the search warrant, Officers seized methamphetamine and arrested Phillip Hart, of Burlington, for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Officers also arrested Samuel Stevenson, of Burlington, for a Jefferson County Warrant for Show Cause Hearing.

Phillip Hart and Samuel Stevenson were transported to the Des Moines County Jail and booked for the charges stated above.

This operation is part of a broader effort to dismantle drug trafficking operations within the region and ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
