Tatyanna Chanell Carlisle, 32, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 3:13 a.m. on Monday, July 14, 2025, at her home.

She was born on September 18, 1992, in Chicago, the daughter of Marlon Beal and Zakia (Ballard) Beal. She married Corey Carlisle, on March 27, 2020 in Tampa, Florida.

Tatyanna is survived by her husband, Corey Carlisle, her parents, Marlon and Zakia Beal, a daughter, Aerith Kalina Jade Carlisle, a stepson, Aiden M. Carlisle, two brothers, Marlon Beal Jr. and Marcus (Carmelia) Beal, all of Galesburg. Two sisters, Tahje Beal, of Fortworth, Texas and SeVonnah Boykins, of Champaign, Illinois. She also is survived by her in-laws, Katrina Jamison and Wendell Carlisle, her maternal grandmother, Carolyn Ballard, her paternal grandparents, Cleveland Richardson and Jewell Hightower, Corey’s grandmothers, Ramona Jamison, Yvonne Williams, and Earnestine Jamison, as well as a host of cousins, uncles, and other extended family. She was preceded in death by two angel babies, Eliyza Rayne Carlisle and Kaisen Carlisle.

Tatyanna graduated from Galesburg High School in 2011, going on to study at the University of Illinois. She then began working at Verizon, working her way up to becoming a supervisor. Tatyanna was born with a severe chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction and struggled with gastrointestinal issues throughout her life. Although, she was ill she didn’t let her condition stop her from living life to the fullest. She enjoyed reading, especially the supernatural genre, and even was a member of an online book club. She was a huge fan of music, participating in marching band in her high school days as a member of the pit. She enjoyed cooking and baking, frequently making her infamous sausage and hamburger patties.  She was very family oriented and loved spending time and being surrounded by her loved ones.

As Tatyanna requested, Cremation will be accorded. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Galesburg Chapel. Pastor Deveraux Hubbard will be officiating. A repass in honor of Tatyanna will be held following services. The repass will be held at the Knights of Columbus, 1566 E. Fremont St., Galesburg, Illinois, from 12:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to a savings account in trust of Galesburg Burlington Credit Union to establish an education fund for Aerith Carlisle. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.h-p-w.com.
