Coming up in December, the Illinois Farm Bureau will have the opportunity to vote on new resolutions for the organization. Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau President Jake Armstrong had the chance to sit on the 2025 Resolution Committee, reviewing and discussing policy proposals ahead of the Annual Meeting.

“We have several big resolutions coming up. The two I wanted to highlight are, first, our education policy is getting a major rewrite – really a major cutdown. Education is not just high school; it’s junior colleges, major universities, and funding. It’s all of it, and when it comes to education, it’s getting a major overhaul,” shares Armstrong. “Then we’ve got more pipeline safety coming. This seems to be a recurring theme the last few years with CO₂ pipelines, so we’ll get a go-around on that again.”

Armstrong adds there are seven proposed bylaw changes, and of those seven, four revolve around membership. For more information, contact your local Farm Bureau office.
