Blending the timeless tradition of auctioneering with the latest technological advances, Tharp Auction Service is hosting a two-day, year-end consignment sale December 11th and 12th. Owner and Operator Thad Tharp shares the details of the sale:
“With this upcoming December consignment sale on the 11th and 12th, the 11th, which is a Thursday, will be an online only day. What that means is, is we will still have the drop spots in Warren, Knox, and Mercer Counties so folks can go and drop their smaller ticket items, tillage items, wheel weights, anything that they want to sell. It is easy for them to stay within the county; they don’t have to drag it to Monmouth. It is convenient and we will be able to market those online only on the 11th. Then when it comes to the 12th, what we are going to do and encourage all the consigners to do is bring their bigger machinery to Monmouth and we are going to do that sale on the 12th live in person and live online.”
Dropoff locations for the Thursday sale are in New Boston, Roseville, and Galesburg. For Friday’s sale, items need to be dropped off at the former Mayrath building outside Monmouth at 2058 US Highway 67. All consignments must be dropped off by November 22nd.
