Nancy L. Huston, 78, of Roseville, IL, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at her home.

Nancy was born November 21, 1947, in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Emmerson Kenneth and Mary Margaret (Watt) Worthington. She was raised and educated in Good Hope and Roseville, graduating from Roseville High School in 1964.  She later attended Carl Sandburg College earning her Licensed Practical Nursing degree with the Class of 2005.

Nancy married Kenneth Duane Huston on July 3, 1965, in Roseville, and he passed away on March 20, 1992.

She worked as a secretary for Liquid Grow and a bookkeeper for Farm Business Management, and later as an LPN for area nursing homes. She was also very active and assisted in the family farm.

Nancy was a member of the Swan Creek United Methodist Church, Roseville Chapter of DAR, and served on the Roseville School Board for 12 years. She enjoyed growing strawberries, sewing, needlepoint, mushrooming, raising bucket calves, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her sons, Frank D. (Tiffany) Huston and Andy K. Huston; her granddaughter, Alex Huston; her sisters, Hope (Bill) Huston-Notz, Susan (Robert) Knepler, Tracey (Steve) Stice, and Kendra (David) Turley; numerous nieces, nephews and close cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth. Interment will be in the Roseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the funeral home.
