Timothy Imler, 68, of New Boston, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at the New Boston United Methodist Church in New Boston. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at New Boston Cemetery. Fippinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Boston United Methodist Church in New Boston. Online condolences can be left at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com.

Tim was born on August 5, 1957, to Harold and Dorothy Imler in Aledo, Illinois. Tim began his career with Laborers’ Local Union 309 and later retired as a concrete finisher with Local 18. Throughout the years, he was known and respected by many union brothers and within the New Boston community.

Tim loved riding motorcycles, working on and collecting classic cars and trucks, and being Poppa to his grandkids and grand dogs.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Brian Imler of New Boston, grandchildren, Larissa and Ryder, former daughter-in-law, Lacey Imler, whom he loved as his own, and many family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry.
