Following the retirement of Scott Riden at the end of the 2025-26 school year, United Junior Senior High welcomed first-year teacher Téa Snook into the agriculture department. A graduate of Western Illinois University, Snook joins United Junior Senior High from Cambridge, where she completed her student teaching.

“Some of the joys that I’ve experienced so far is all the enthusiasm of the upcoming freshmen. They’re super excited to get started, get their record books going, and go to contests. And then, as for future goals, I just want to continue that enthusiasm and continue the excitement of going to the contests and coming to ag class and joining FFA.”

Snook joins Corrine Wascher in teaching agriculture and advising the FFA chapter, with a focus on keeping students engaged in the classroom and involved in FFA activities.
