As we near a year of navigating through the coronavirus pandemic, no one knew just how stressful it would be, especially to seniors and their caregivers. To discuss the effects of isolation from COVID-19 and how it has been detrimental to those in long term care facilities, Bridgeway is hosting a ‘Fighting for Our Seniors Mental Health Amidst a Pandemic’ zoom seminar. VP of Behavior Health Services at Bridgeway, Stacy Brown, has more:

“We pulled together and are collaborating with a group of providers to really have a frank discussion on what it is like for people to experience this, what it is like for family members to have to live through this with them as well, and how we can help people with that. Petersen Healthcare, Hospice Compassus, Bridgeway, and the Alzheimer’s Association will be doing a live Zoom discussion. It will basically just be a panel discussion. We will be able to answer questions and give resources. You can register just by going to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/mental-health-isolation-and-covid-19-tickets-132272930897?aff=ebdssbonlinesearch.”

The seminar will be held on Thursday, January 28th from noon until 2 and is open to everyone.
