The Cubs are celebrating a series sweep of the Pirates following an 8-3 victory at PNC Park. Kyle Hendricks got the win after surrendering three runs, one earned, on two hits over six innings. Nico Hoerner went two-for-five with a solo homer and three RBI, while Nick Madrigal knocked in a pair of runs. Chicago improved to 36-and-38 and is third in the NL Central. The Cubs are off to London to begin a weekend series against the Cardinals on Saturday.
