The Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau® Foundation is proud to announce this year’s scholarship recipients. Due to the generosity of the Twomey Family Foundation, memorials in honor of loved ones, support from our members and area businesses, and fundraising efforts, the Foundation can assist nineteen applicants this year in furthering their education in agriculture. Each of this year’s recipients will receive a total of $1,300 for the 2024-25 academic year.

The Foundation started awarding scholarships in 1994 and since that time has awarded 412 scholarships and almost $350,000 to students continuing their education in an agricultural field of study.

Meet one of this year’s recipients: Luke Jungmann

Luke Jungmann graduated from United High School in the spring and is dual enrolled in Parkland College and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to major in Precision Ag. While in high school, Luke was involved in FFA, Golf, Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leader, and was a class officer. In his free time, he enjoys showing cattle, golf, fishing, video games, and lifting weights. Luke’s future plans include precision ag. Luke is the son of Matthew and Krystal Jungmann of Little York.
