Through the Adult Education programs and Regional Alternative Education Services, the Regional Office of Education #33 assists adults in obtaining their high school diploma, acquiring English language skills, or transition to college or a career, informs Assistant Regional Superintendent Emily Adolphson:
“Our Adult Education, we have 127 students working towards their high school diploma this year and 183 students are working to improve their English. So far this year we have 35 graduates,” says Adolphson.
“At R.A.E.S., we have 102 students enrolled in our alternative programs and we already have nine graduates,” Adolphson adds.
The ROE #33 serves the local school districts and communities in Henderson, Knox, Mercer, and Warren Counties.
