Connie Sue (Bielser) Hull, 77, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home on June 21, 2026.

Born on September 20, 1948, to Earl and Frances (Krow) Bielser, Connie was the youngest of seven children. She was raised in Gladstone, Illinois, and graduated from Union High School in 1966. Growing up in a large family helped shape the strong, independent spirit that would define her throughout her life.

To those who knew her best, Connie’s quick wit and spirited personality were unmistakable. Though generally reserved, she was never afraid to speak her mind when the moment called for it. Her quiet strength was matched by a caring heart and fierce devotion to those she loved, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

On November 13, 1999, Connie married Steve Hull. In Steve, she found the love of her life. Together they found a happiness that defined the years they shared, and from that day forward they were inseparable. Most evenings, they could be found on their patio enjoying each other’s company, swapping stories, sharing laughter, and relaxing with an adult beverage. Those quiet moments together became some of their most treasured memories and reflected the deep love they shared.

Connie’s professional career included positions with Munson Transportation and later Human Resources at Farmland Foods. Her work in the pork production industry eventually led her and Steve to St. Joseph, Missouri, where they both worked for industry leader Triumph Foods. Following their retirement in 2017, they returned to Monmouth to be closer to family and once again call it home.

Connie had a special place in her heart for cats, and over the years, many found a loving home with her. Her beloved Cali, who was rarely far from her side, held a particularly special place in her heart. She loved spending time watching timeless classic movies and proudly displayed her collection of Wizard of Oz memorabilia. She also had a well-known weakness for snacks and candy, a trait her family will always remember with a smile.

Steve remained faithfully by Connie’s side, caring for her at home with remarkable love, patience, and devotion until the very end, a final expression of the love they shared.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Frances Bielser; brothers, Robert, Earl “Sonny,” and Dean Bielser; and sisters, Carol Peterson and Charlotte Foster.

Connie is survived by her beloved husband, Steve Hull; her son, John (Renee) McGinnes of Reno, Nevada; her daughter, Tracey (Dr. Patrick) Moore of Galesburg, Illinois; her stepdaughters, Lori (George) Enderlin of Smithfield, Virginia and Julie (Mark) Trulson of Monmouth, Illinois; her 18 cherished grandchildren; her 11 beloved great-grandchildren; her brother, Ronnie Bielser; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Cremation has been entrusted to her family, and no public services will be held. Memorials may be given to the Connie Hull Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.

Connie’s family would like to thank everyone for the love, prayers, kindness, and support shown during this difficult time. Special thanks to Candi and Charmista of OSF Hospice.McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL, is in charge of the arrangements.
